Welcome to Saint Peter Claver High School, a Jesuit boarding school located on a 500-acre campus about 15 kilometres from the centre of Dodoma, the legislative capital of the United Republic of Tanzania. Our school is located near the village of Ihumwa, a rapidly expanding part of the city.
Presently we have over 650 students in Forms I-IV (Ordinary Level). Next year we’ll have over 750 students in Forms I-V, including our very first Advanced-Level class of Form Fives!
Our school is meant to develop young men and women to become leaders in every aspect of life in Tanzania (government, business, education, religion, etc.). As a Catholic school sponsored by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), we also consider it our duty to form young men and women to be “beholders of God’s grace,” to see how God’s love is active in the world — and to respond to the divine love in service to God and service to humanity.
Whether you are presently a parent, a parent of a prospective student, or a friend of the school, we hope you find the information you need here. If not, please do not hesitate to contact us.
For the Greater Glory of God
